The federal Bundesvertretung (BV) is organized throughout Austria. She is a negotiating partner with the ministry, is active in the and represents the students externally.

For everything specific to Angewandte there is the level of university representationThe Universitätsvertretung (UV) is the “parliament” of Hufak. It consists of 9 mandates who are elected every two years at the ÖH election. The UV is the center of legal power of Hufak: all decisions on how Hufak should spend its money, who to appoint to the Referate, and even the Satzung, are voted on. She fights for your interests and rights as a student and tries to bring about improvements at the university and in teaching.

Study programme representatives (StVStV refers both to the 20 Studienvertretungen at Angewandte who represent the concerns of the students of their programme(s), and to the 2-3 mandates that each Studienvertretung consists of, which can only be elected at the ÖH election every two years. Apart from having the legal right to nominate Stuko members, the StVs also manage their study programme’s part of the Hufak budget. While legally all financial decisions are taken by the elected StV mandates alone, we encourage StVs to consult with their student body and make decisions in a plenum whenever possible. They are the direct contact persons for and look after the concerns of the students in their degree program. For example, they actively advocate for improvements in everyday student life in various committees (e.g., curriculum working groups, study conferences, etc.).
