With this document we want to inform you about the different types of compensation you are entitled to as a student representativeStudierendenvertreter*in is an umbrella term that covers all students engaged in student representation work in some official capacity: elected mandates of the UV and StVs, heads and assistants of the Referate, tutors, and all students sent to collegiate organs and other commissions. It is defined in § 30 HSG, and the legal status as a student representative qualifies you for various perks. The different ways to become a student representative: • mandates: elected at the ÖH Wahl (only possible every two years) • department heads: elected at a UV meeting • collegiate organ student members: can be sent by the… and how you can get them. Function fee

Function fees are taxable income and may affect the eligibility limits for scholarships or social benefits. See the HTU guidelines for details. The current function fees paid by Hufak are documented in the financial regulations, and are limited by the upper limits stated in § 31 HSG. Hufak is required to report earnings from function fees to the tax office if: • the total remuneration paid to the official in the calendar year for… of 75 EUR / month, up to 10 times per year.
